Ok, here I go again going on and on about my fave clothing designer, Erica Tanov, but she turned up in my new issue of the awesome textile publication Selvedge Mag...so here's another dose of her wonderful, earthy yet way sophisticated aesthetic which is "equal parts simple, elegant, natural, relaxed and comfortable," all the elements that to me make up a garment that you grow to truly loVe... hand-knit in Bolivia by a small women's collective (loVe this)...

Erica's first retail store was in the same building that her grandfather ran his laundry business in the bay area, how lucky to have that kind of family history behind your first venture?  I just loVe her and her clothes!

This morning my client's teenage daughter who is so adorable said to me laughing, "Claudia, stop being so happy!" My answer? "Never, because if I stop laughing I'd be crying," which I also like to do because it feels really good (a close second to laughing) but how would people react if I walked around crying instead? I know, random, but a silly thought! Have a happy Monday and like I say to my sons always, it's ok to cry...xocc
