Eden Rocks

Hello! Just got back from a wonderful long-overdue vacation with my hubs (no kids) in Miami Beach and Key West.  It was awesome and Miami Beach was more beautiful than ever. We did a lot of non-touristy stuff all over the city and discovered how much we both love the place…

Our stay at the historic Eden Roc Resort & Spa, totally redone and a dream, was unforgettable…the food, all farm-to-table fresh at the renowned 1500° restaurant, was simply succulent…the grounds amazing with 3 infinity pools, 2 hot tubs & the Atlantic Ocean everywhere you turn…the gym gorgeous with an ocean front view…and best of all was the luxurious bed, with the top-notch mattress, crisp white linens and tons of fluffy down pillows, just the way we like it!

My hubs went to the University of Miami and I think he left his heart in South Florida many years ago…and I also have fond memories visiting Miami in the summers on my way to Colombia.  Scott loves the Spanish culture and so do I, of course.  With so much to offer (to-die-for real estate, relaxed lifestyle & gorgeous weather), we are considering a move there after our kids are all off to college…

I’ve been busy working with my private clients and at Restoration and planning my return to school (hopefully in the fall) to study graphic design at the Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia. I already have a degree, but I’ve always been interested in exploring other areas of design, so I’m gonna go for it!  Hope you all are well…see you soon xocc ♥

happy holidays…

Hi everyone!

{flickr, my little brown pen and check out Nichole’s awesome blog here}

I know, I know I’ve been MIA but there are reasons!  Firstly, my son is going off to Penn State, State College, in January and I’ve been getting him outfitted which has been a lot of fun.  He is taking his navy blue plaid duvet I had made for him when he was 3 and moved into a big boy bed.  I used that as the foundation for his dorm room decor (his 1/2 anyway) and it’s rather college-worthy I must say.  Secondly, I started working a few hours a week as an interior designer for Restoration Hardware and I love it!  I still have my private clients also so there you have it…great reasons for my being a stonehouselove slacker lately…i miss you guys and wanted to wish you a very happy, healthy holiday season…thank you so much for reading…xocc ♥
