…i woke up early this a.m. to a blanket of powdery snow and to not so happy teenage boys…there was no late school opening…i had planned to drive one hour north to deliver some work to my seamstress (she’s totally worth the drive) but decided with the weather instead to stay home, drink really good coffee, light a roaring fire, cook and organize my workspace…have a delightful winter weekend…

…over the holidays, I caught up on my stack of product catalogues and magazines and i discovered Shane and his exclusive new indoor garden collection for West Elm, a catalogue i never paid much attention to…but in which i found myself dog-earing mutiple smart and affordable products for my clients (and for me)…and they surprisingly have a section promoting etsy artists…
and a special page with all the hot benjamin moore paint colors, making West Elm a great go-to, one-stop source for interiors…
…enough slacking…have tons of work to do…happy first monday in 2011…xocc
…we are here, the closing of the year 2010…and the best part is we have another chance to start a new year, clean & fresh and realize our goals, hopes & dreams…2010 was sweet to me and to my family…and I know 2011 will be better yet!

I read a lot…loVe it! Not only does it enhance our vocabulary but i love the way words relate to one another and how the meaning can suddenly shift depending on the word you choose or how it is used. I also cherish how we can be transported to another imaginary place and get lost in that world, sometimes for hours. In cyberspace, i take full advantage of how one ‘read’ can lead to many others (link layering, remember?) and help you discover a new artist, designer, stylist, photographer, musician, product line, etc. Stylist Taryn Bickley’s lovely blog, Sage & Style, is one of those for me and today i dug a tad deeper and unearthed the artistry of a photographer whose style instantly moved me…her bio reads, “how do you photograph a vibe? Meet Cybelle Codish.”
